EM 2024: England ringt Schweiz im Elfmeterschießen nieder - und steht im Halbfinale
Englands Fußballstars quälen sich weiter durch die EM - können aber plötzlich Elfmeter verwandeln. Nach einer erneut düsteren Leistung setzte sich die Mannschaft von Gareth Southgate im Viertelfinale gegen die Schweiz mit 5:3 vom Punkt durch und darf weiter vom ersten großen Titel seit dem WM-Triumph im eigenen Land 1966 träumen. Die Three Lions hatten bereits im Achtelfinale nachsitzen müssen.
